Welcome!

Neuroplasticity. Personalized

Neuroplasticity Hub is a unified digital platform built to transform the landscape of traumatic brain injury (TBI) support, research accessibility, and neuroscience education. Between 2018 and 2023, over 127,000 TBI-related hospitalizations occurred in Canada—yet no centralized system connects clinical data, patient experiences, and translational research. We’re here to change that.

This platform works in tandem with the Neuroplasticity Rehabilitation Index (NRI) system to deliver actionable insights on brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and neuroplasticity. Our goal is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge neuroscience and real-world recovery, empowering clinicians, researchers, students, and TBI survivors alike.

What You'll Find Here

Notebook and Fountain Pen

A reflective space where TBI survivors and their families can share personal experiences, recovery journeys, and insights—fostering empathy, connection, and resilience within the community.

Blog
Abstract Background

A dual-purpose community space where:

  • TBI survivors can exchange support, motivation, and therapeutic insights

  • Students and early-stage researchers can engage with academics, clinicians, and neuroscientists, fostering interdisciplinary mentorship and collaboration

Connect
Petri Dish Experiment

A curated repository of:

  • Peer-reviewed articles and relevant research on neuroplasticity, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), BDNF, and neurodegenerative diseases

  • Findings from our meta-analyses and updates from our ongoing research initiatives

Research Hub
Abstract Sphere

An interactive tool allowing users to explore and test the Neuroplasticity Rehabilitation Index (NRI)—contributing feedback to help refine and validate this evolving model for TBI-related neuroplasticity tracking.

NRI
Book on Table

An accessible learning portal designed to break down complex neuroscience concepts—such as BDNF function and neuroplastic recovery—into engaging, understandable content for students, educators, and curious minds of all backgrounds.
